Easter Hols

In the middle of hols with the kids off and me working. Had fun making some websites recently www.latestnew.info is a draft for a joint venture with Christian Aid, this site will evolve as more young people cathch the dream. Finished first version of my mate's web www.joefisher.biz , looks simple but it took me ages as I learnt some web languages along the way. www.globalistic.net will also be the new space for a creative arts project with other denomnations in the SW. Not a lot there yet but a good domain name anyway.

I've also started a church planting web but that isn't ready for public consumption as yet. Upgraded my youthwork resources site at www.exeter.anglican.org/youthwork . This old site will need some therapy soon also.

Webs are great but at times really frustrating and they keep you up at night. Sleep well

A huge crowd of Devon supporters from the major development agencies and churches plan to “wrap” the Bishop of Exeter and the trees around the Cathedral in white bands to draw attention to MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY CAMPAIGN and the Global Week of Action.

Talk on faith, at ccc church exeter

God is great and over the last week hundreds of people including the young have committed to Christ in Plymouth ! Gotta be good. Sitting now in church being encouraged in faith !!!
Maundy Thursday I'm going to have a walk along a lonely beach and have some jesus monastic time. How I hunger for more of His presence, His stream of life...

yes I am still alive

been involved in a full-on mission in Plymouth... I feel like I need a time of normality as have been pushing the work/home balance too much. easter is a good time to re-address the equilibrium.

Found an excellent site for animations, animated powerpoint  backgrounds, etc.. www.animationfactory.com

Preach Over

Great beer with Jon Soper of Exeter Network Church, we talked about everything including a fusion of emerging church concepts with the best of the charismatic/evangelical scene. That really turned me on because so often as one movement is coming out of another it "over-reacts " to it's mother. It was like that when I left home at 18, big time reaction and it wasn't until I hit 25 -30 that the relationship with my parents hit an equilibrium - a wise place. Church, please learn this lesson of over-reaction and polarisation and hit the equilibrium much, much earlier.
