Prayer for simplicity within complexity

Arrived at my desk after 3 days with family and struck by complexity of what I'm aiming to achieve ... A multifacetted life with many modes of being... as Apostle Paul aspired to "all things to all people". I love what you are doing in me Father, but where is the simplicity to be found ? Love God, love everybody. says Jesus. Live in today as if this is your last. Be PRESENT when present. Father here I am, use me tonight as I speak to a load of clergy around Tavistock. May I be fully present for my hour with the family.

Fill my mind with thoughts of You and Your dreams. May this whole week be yours, help me to connect with coaching training and church planting thesis. May I not blob too much in front of telly. May this weekend be significant for the ending of global poverty. May your kingdom come and may your will be done.
