Wandering around my local neighbourhood, praying and chatting to folks ..
I'm trying to get a sense of where people are at and finding out 'what God is already doing!'
Previously, in my wonderfully proud way, I was taught that basically as I go to reach out to the folks around me, God comes with me - sounds good and proper .. And to some degree really true. But we forget that we can't box the creator of the universe into just being our little helpful chum! After all this God is wild and not tame or tamed - the Celtic Christians called Him the Wild Goose - goes where He wants, when He wants, doing what He wants!
Yes He is with me but Yes He is also already where I intend to go and has been at work in people's lives since the day they were born - ever so gently drawing all people to Himself through Christ.
