Sitting in my window seat with sunshine pouring in through the curtains - what a beautiful day here in the SW.
More coffees with Exeter church leaders today - including a lovely chap called Andy Mulcock from Isca Church who has always been a legend of mine. He has been in Exeter forever and has journeyed with Isca through many ups and downs but has remained incredibly faithful and solid... a real example of patient long term leadership that the church really needs to truly develop ('I'm here 'til it happens, I've already bought my gravestone' type thinking). He has also immersed himself in being a school governor and has seen schools transformed and brought out of special measures etc. Not that it was all down to him, I'm sure he would say, but he has been a factor.
Then a week or two of quiet - I'm off on retreat next week in Cornwall and then half term with the tribe.
